| Jane’s early influences helped to shape her. Growing up with a father who was a custom home builder left indelible impressions about the importance, liveability and functionality of design. Jane explains that, “Watching my father struggle to work with sub-par designs made me practical and realistic about what I create.” While in university, Jane took her know how to the trenches to do hands-on work for contractors during the summer months. Today, Jane’s plans are said to be, “...something I can actually build from.” That’s high praise from those in the know.
